RAID0(Stripping): 至少需要2塊盤
RAID1(Mirror): 需要2塊盤
RAID10(Mirror, Stripping): 至少需要4塊盤，並且是偶數個
RAID5(Distributed Parity Data): 至少需要3塊盤
RAID50(Distributed Parity Data, Stripping): 至少需要6塊盤, 並且是偶數個. 擴容時必須以2塊為單位
RAID6(Two Independant Distributed Parity Data): 至少需要4塊盤
RAID60(Two Independant Distributed Parity Data, Stripping): 至少需要8塊盤, 並且是偶數個
RAID51(Mirrored Distributed Parity Data): 至少需要6塊盤, 並且是偶數個. 擴容時必須以2塊為單位
RAID61(Mirrored Two Independant Distributed Parity Data): 至少需要8塊盤, 並且是偶數個
JBOD: 至少需要1塊盤
