Linux下設定tomcat自啟動

1.環境

Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4
tomcat5.5
jdk1.6

 

2.設定步驟（root使用者登陸）

1）拷貝 /tomcat_home/bin/catalina.sh 到 /etc/rc.d/init.d 下

在/etc/rc.d/init.d/catalina.sh 的

#!/bin/sh
# -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

的下面，加入

# chkconfig: 2345 63 37
# description: tomcat server init script
JAVA_HOME=/usr/local/jdk1.6.0_16（jdk的安裝目錄）
CATALINA_HOME=/usr/local/tomcat5.5（tomcat的安裝目錄）

 

2）將/etc/rc.d/init.d/catalina.sh 改名為 tomcat

 

3)查看/tomcat_home/bin下的檔案是否都具有執行許可權，沒有的話，把各shell的許可權改為可執行檔

$chmod 755 ＊.＊

 

4)查看/etc/rc.d/init.d/tomcat 是否具有執行許可權，沒有話，用以下命令修改許可權

$chomd 755 tomcat

 

5)執行

$/sbin/chkconfig --add tomcat

$/sbin/chkconfig --level 35 tomcat on

 

6)查看系統服務中是否有了tomcat

$/sbin/chkconfig --list  | grep tomcat

 

7)重新啟動機器，用下列命令查看tomcat是否啟動

$ps -ef | grep tomcat

 

3.還可以在 /var/log/boot.log 中查看tomcat的啟動資訊
