應用程式架構指導包由微軟模式與實踐團隊負責編寫，為基於.NET平台的應用程式設計提供了一些指導，現在v2.0 Beta版本已經發布，包括的內容有應用程式架構基礎、設計、分層、設計模式等等，設計的應用程式類型有Mobile Application，Office Business Application (OBA)，Rich Client Application ，Rich Internet Application (RIA)，Web Application等 ，之前園子裡的蠟筆小巢也有過介紹。完整的目錄如下所示：
