IBM伺服器安裝SuSE劃分/boot/efi分區的問題

作業系統：SUSE Linux Enterprise 11

伺服器：IBM PC SERVER

/boot分區大小1G

 

之前有同事反映在一台IBM的PC SERVER上安裝SuSE11，在劃分分區的時候出現問題，但是劃分分區的方案在DELL的PC SERVER上是沒有問題的。當時報的錯誤如下。

warning: with  your current  setup

your suse linux Enterprise  Server11 sp1 installation will encouter problems when booting . because you have no fat partition mounted ontoboot/efi.

This will give server problems with thenormal boot setup

if you do not know exactcy abut you aredoing. use a normal fat partition for your files below/boot/efi

change this?   yes   no

解決方案：

在現有基礎上，再劃分一個/boot/efi分區，掛載點/boot/efi，檔案系統格式為FAT，大小200M，強制主要磁碟分割。

結束劃分，點擊Accept。

或者在點擊accept時出現的警告點YES。

 

原因：

         原因不清楚。大概意思就是說IBM的伺服器不支援SuSE分區引導方式。是和UEFI有關，還是和檔案系統EXT3，FAT有關，亦或是boot分區大小有關（因為/boot劃分了1G）。
