5月13日訊息，據國外媒體報道，德國軟體巨擘SAP周三宣布，將以58億美元的現金收購Sybase

 

SAP將以每股65美元的價格收購Sybase，交易總金額為58億美元。自20世紀90年代中期以來，Sybase股價從未超過50
美元。

SAP是全球最大的商業管理軟體廠商，而Sybase是全球領先的資料管理及企業整合解決方案供應商，該交易將有助於SAP與甲骨文抗衡。甲骨文不
久前以74億美元收購Sun。

 

SAP表示，該交易將使SAP獲得Sybase的核心技術，使一些商業應用在手機上運行。如果順利，該交易預計於今年第三季度完成。

在交易宣布前，市場上已經有相關傳聞，導致Sybase股價上揚35%至56.14美元。在盤後交易中，Sybase股價再度上揚15%至
64.30美元。

acquisitions, mostly to buy its way into markets where SAP is strong.

new co-CEOs Bill McDermott


and Jim Hagemann Snabe, who took over in February after the
previous CEO resigned.

哎！sybase從09年下半年在國內剛開始起色，怎麼又被賣了呢？本來還打算最近考個sybase認證的。看來得延遲或者取消了。
