簡訴Python Re模組中re.search和re.match的區別

先前的兩篇文章《python re.match函數是什麼，瞭解python match函數的使用》，《Python中的python re.search方法詳解》，我們介紹了Python中Re模組的match模組和search模組，這邊文章就是與前兩篇聯動說明 re.search和re.match的區別

什麼是re.search：

什麼是re.match：

那麼re.search和re.match的區別是什麼？

簡而言之是re.match只匹配字串的開始，如果字串開始不符合Regex，則匹配失敗，函數返回None；而re.search匹配整個字串，直到找到一個匹配

執行個體：

#!/usr/bin/pythonimport reline = "Cats are smarter than dogs"; matchObj = re.match( r'dogs', line, re.M|re.I)if matchObj:     print "match --> matchObj.group() : ", matchObj.group()else:   print "No match!!"matchObj = re.search( r'dogs', line, re.M|re.I)    if matchObj:       print "search --> matchObj.group() : ", matchObj.group()    else:          print "No match!!"

以上執行個體運行結果如下：

No match!!search --> matchObj.group() :  dogs
