Apache Pivot v2.0發佈 RIA應用程式開源平臺

Pivot是一套採用JAVA構建 RIA應用程式的開源平臺。 Pivot平臺的定位是內嵌于瀏覽器的Flex和HTTP://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/14275.html">Silverlight等富用戶端開發技術的直接競爭對手。 Pivot的實現借鑒了其它工具箱的一些點子（比如Swing），此外，它也結合了JAVA2D在過去幾年中實現的優化。 在Pivot上實現應用程式的工 作主要是結合JAVA和XML的開發，可以採用applet的方式或者獨立方式運行，同時也支援離線方式或者桌面應用的方式。

Apache Pivot is an open-source platform for building installable Internet applications (IIAs). It combines the enhanced productivity and usability features of a modern user interface toolkit with the robustness of the JAVA platform.

Pivot allows developers to easily construct visually-engaging, cross-platform, connected applications in JAVA or any other JVM language, such as JavaScript, Groovy, or Scala. Pivot is also the only truly open IIA framework: it is completely open source, and is driven entirely by the software deve lopment community.

Pivot enables developers to build solutions using the tools they already know, decreasing delivery time and reducing techn ology sprawl.
