Pinguy OS v10.04.2發佈 基於Ubuntu的發行版本

Pinguy OS是基於HTTP://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/13835.html">Ubuntu的發行，它面向Linux新手。 它的特色在於大量的方便使用性增強，對多媒體編碼解碼器和瀏覽器外掛程式開箱即用的支援，一份顯著改造 過並帶有增強功能表、面板和浮動工具條的GNOME使用者介面, 以及面向很多公共計算任務的一套精心選擇的流行桌面應用軟體。

As 10.04 is long team support I didn't want it to fall behind. This is an updated version, its a bit bigger then what it was before (by 300MB) because I didn't build this from scratch, I just updated the existing 10.04.1.2 image. As of Thursday 10th February this was fully updated.

I have added TeamViewer6 to the install. After talking to a few people it seems many people that use Pinguy OS have installed in on friends and family's PC's. Having TeamViewer6 pre-installed will help with them to give support and maintain their installs.

While I was updating the distro I thought I might as well add the features that where in 10.10 that where missing from 10. 04, like the sound menu applet and the new Ubuntu Software Center.

Conky has a new layout, its now using Conky Grey that can be found in the Conky tutorial section of the forum. The new fixed version of the old Conky can still be used. Its hidden in the Home folder called .conkyrc.old The updated version of the old conky now uses the Pinguy OS icon instead of the Ubuntu one and to find your internet IP is now uses a different site as whatismyip.org kept going down.
