06. Configure the email account for NopCommerce

If the NopCommerce configuration allows users to register as registered via email and activate the email address after registration, we need to configure the NopCommerce email account for sending emails. Of course, emails have many other purposes, such as sending user subscription information, order information, and changing passwords. Instead of sending emails in real time, NopCommerce first inserts the data to be sent into the message queue. The system initializes a mail sending service task to regularly send emails!

 

1. Configure email

You can configure multiple accounts for the system mailbox (only one default account is required for sending)

 

Note: Pay attention to mailbox ConfigurationSSLAndUse default credentials (Use default credentials)Option. Otherwise, the email cannot be sent normally.

I used 163 mailboxes for testing. Both options are False. Other mailboxes are configured according to the actual situation.

 

2. episodes

An episode occurred during this period, that is, the configured 126 email, which can be sent in the past, but cannot be logged in later, and the following error is reported.Net_io_connectionclosed.

Maybe I don't log on for a few weeks, and this error occurs. I thought something happened!

The mailbox looks simple, but it still wastes a lot of time. You must pay attention to the configuration, otherwise it will always fail, and it will be a blow!
