The GC Explorer
Official document: Administrator ' s guide->24 Using the Database Resource Manager
Usage: Less used in the actual production environment
Role: Limit the use of database resources, CPU memory Undo Table Space IO session
Occasions: When there are multiple apps using a database and resource constraints can be adjusted with "explorer"
Implementation: can be completed with GC or by EM, and the package is also available to complete
UI way: Simple, fast, not error prone
Commend mode: Complex setup, long command, high failure rate, DBMS_RESOURCE_MANAGER_PRIVS packet processing
Requirements:
1. Define 2 resource consumption groups (OLTP transaction resource consumption Group and DSS data Warehouse resource consumption group)
2. Create a Schedule plan schedule
3. For OLTP resource consumption groups, we cannot have more than 50 active sessions, and if you exceed 50 active sessions then you should abort 120 seconds before requesting
4. For DSS resource consumption group, we can not exceed the number of 10 active sessions, if more than 10 active sessions, then we should abort 300 seconds before requesting
5. Set up an OLTP DSS other_groups 3 Group CPU hit rates of 50% 30% 20% respectively
6.DSS resource consumption group with a maximum degree of parallelism of 20
7. The time to query a DML statement for an OLTP session cannot exceed 100 seconds
8. Specify the instance default schedule "schedule Schedule" activation
