32-bit Linux file size limit

Source: Internet

The online program constantly restarts, viewing log discovery as a process because the sigxfsz signal exits. This signal is generated when a large file is being manipulated, typically only on a four-bit machine, with a file size limit of 2G. Using lsof to view the files opened by the process, sure enough, there is a file up to 2G.

Solution: Compile-time with parameters:-d_file_offset_bits=64; when calling Lseek in code, the parameter is off_t(do not int or Long , otherwise in + bits and - different in the position).
