Access LAN Shared Folders
In the LAN, shared files are often used, so that it is convenient and fast to transfer files and share data among multiple users. Here we will teach you how to create and access shared folders.
Open Control Panel, find firewall, and click Open Firewall
The firewall settings panel is displayed. We choose to disable the firewall.
Then, create a folder on a disk and add the file to be shared.
Right-click the folder and select share and security.
The share and security dialog box is displayed. Check and select the share folder on the network.
Then share it!
Next, go to another computer, computer on the same LAN, and select "Network Neighbor" on the desktop. Right-click and click "open ".
The "Network Neighbor" dialog box is displayed. You can view the workgroup computer on the left. Select this option and click "open ".
Then let's check the computer name of the shared file computer and click my computer-properties-computer name
Then find the name of the computer you just viewed in the working group on another computer, and you will see the shared folder.
