Environment: SharePoint Central, Windows Server 2003 x64 SP2
The server deploys MOSS 2007 and the client is in good access, but when you visit Moss on that server, you are constantly prompted for a username and password, and the input is not valid.
According to the Microsoft Knowledge Base, this issue occurs when the site uses integrated authentication and has a name that maps to the native loopback address.

Method 1: Disable the loopback check

Click Start, tap run, type regedit, and then click OK.
In Registry Editor, locate and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
Right-click Lsa, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type DisableLoopbackCheck, and then press Enter.
Right-click disableloopbackcheck, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
Quit Registry Editor, and then restart your computer.
Method 2: Specify the host name
To specify a host name that maps to the loopback address and can connect to a Web site on the computer, follow these steps:
