Add a TrueType font to X Windows

1. Install fontconfig and ttmkfdir (FreeType/xft can also be installed to enhance the font display effect)
2. set the TrueType font directory in Windows (C:/Windows/fonts /*. TTF ,*. TTC ,*. TTF) copy to the Linux font directory (/usr/share/fonts/Windows ).
# Cd/usr/share/fonts/Windows
3. Create a font index
# Ttmkfdir-O fonts. Scale (the original index file will be overwritten when the TrueType font is created)
4. Update the font information cache and restart the Font Service XFS
# FC-Cache-FV
#/Sbin/service XFS restart
5. Check the font installation status
# FC-list | grep Sim
6. Modify the Chinese font of the browser.
Firefox: Edit-> preferences-> content tab-> default font is set to simsun ()
7. Modify the Chinese font of the Input Method
Scim: pannel-> GTK-> font set to simsun ()
