The dual-system is installed. When the system is started, it is selected to start XP or 98 countdown reading seconds. The default value is 30 seconds. How can it be changed to a shorter value? |
|
My computer -- properties -- Advanced -- start and fault recovery -- settings -- display the operating system time list -- change it by yourself. |

On drive C, there is a system file boot. ini which has a line in it:
Timeout = XX The next XX represents the number of seconds
Click Tools> Folder Options> View, select and display all files, and unhide the protected operating system file so that you can see it and click "start" ---> "run ", enter "C:/boot. INI, change "30" to "5", that is, change 30 seconds to 5 seconds. The operation process is as follows:
Double-click "my computer"/double-click "C: Disk/tool/folder"/View/remove the check box before "Hide protected operating system files, select "show all files and folders"/find boot in the C: disk root directory. INI, right-click to remove read-only. /Open boot. ini, and change timeout = 30 in the second line to the next 30 (the display time of the menu selected at startup, in seconds) to the desired time/save/OK.
