An error occurred while trying to run the project: failed to start debugging and the debugger was not correctly installed

When debugging vs2003, the following message is displayed: An error occurred while trying to run the project: failed to start debugging. The debugger is not correctly installed. Run and install ProgramInstall or fix the debugger
When this error is prompted, you must first check whether the service [services. msc] contains the machine debug Manager Service. Run the following command if you do not have one:
C: \ Program Files \ common files \ microsoft shared \ vs7debugthe mdm.exe/regserver
Then find the machine debug Manager Service in the service and start it.
