If you set the initial value to Ng-model that is selectedtask correctly, it will be the default value.

Setting Selectedtask It is important to note that if there is some logic to select the initial value

Make sure that Selectedtask is from an item in the Tasklist list.

If the type is the same, but not from tasklist, it is not displayed correctly.

Selectedtask = tasklist[0];
