Another implementation of connection timeouts in Linux

My previous implementation is to use a non-blocking socket, in fact, the blocking socket has another way to implement, that is, using alarm (alarm), enter the connection before setting a timeout

Voidset_timeout (int n) {to = 0;alarm (n); signal (SIGALRM, timeout);}

Then enter the connection,

y = Connect (sock, (struct sockaddr *) &cli, sizeof (CLI));

If it times out, the process receives the SIGALRM signal, and the process of the program goes to SIGALRM's signal processing function timeout.

At this point the Connect function will be interrupted by the signal.
