Automatically refresh folders and samba to solve the problem of manual F5 refresh

Every time we add a folder in the window or delete an object, we must press the "F5" key to refresh the window, which is especially troublesome. You can modify the registry to perform automatic refresh.

1. Enter the primary key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetControlUpdate].

2. Change the binary value "UpdateMode" to "00 00 00 ".
 

Symptom
In Windows Resource Manager, when you create, paste, or delete a file, the user interface may not be updated automatically. Therefore, the file list that appears in the current folder may not be up-to-date. This behavior may occur when the destination folder is located on the DFS share or the folder is a special folder that must be redirected. For example, the "My Documents" folder is redirected to \ myservermyshare. This behavior may also occur when the redirected folder points to the Netware server. At any time, you only need to press F5 to refresh the resource manager window.
To solve this problem
Step 1: obtain the latest Windows XP Service Pack, Which is service pack2.
Step 2: Modify the Registry Information
Warning if the registry is incorrectly modified using the Registry Editor or other methods, it may cause serious problems. These problems may need to be solved by re-installing the operating system.
Perform the following steps:
1. Find and click the following registry key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesExplorer
2. on the "edit" menu, point to "new" and click "DWORD Value ".
3. Type NoSimpleNetIDList and press Enter.
4. On the "edit" menu, click "modify ".
5. Type 1 and click OK ".
