Benchmark test scores for Windows 7 RC and Vista

In the previous comparison test of the performance of Windows 7 RC and Vista SP1, the two were basically comparable and could not be divided into obvious winners and losers on both A and N cards. Recently Gizmodo a benchmark comparison of Windows 7 RC and Vista, let's take a look at the results.

The first set of tests taken by the user almost every day to use the benchmark, the startup aspect of Windows 7 slightly dominant while in the shutdown and in Adobe Photoshop CS4 the speed of applying filters to 16.6MB (9764x3720-pixel) pictures, Vista has a good performance in Windows 7 RC.

The second group of tests focused on traditional benchmark PCMark Vantage and 3DMark Vantage, except that Vista won Windows 7 RC in the 3DMark test, and other aspects of Windows 7 RC were superior.

From the test results, although Windows 7 feels more efficient, the objective data shows that Windows 7 RC only takes advantage of the obscure benchmark test and is less than Vista in everyday applications.
