Build a cross-compiling environment in Linux Enterprise 5

 

Step 1: copy the cross-compilation tool chain arm-Linux-gcc-4.5.1-V6-vfp-20101103.tgz to the Windows shared folder, then go to the Linux system, click computer, select the network, find the local machine, and then select the shared folder, copy the arm-Linux-gcc-4.5.1-V6-vfp-20101103.tgz to the Linux system, I created a new arm-Linux-GCC folder in the file system and decompress it to this folder.

Step 2: Enter the root directory. If the terminal is opened in the arm-Linux-GCC folder, enter the command CD to enter the root directory, and then enter # gedit/root/. bashrcOpen the bashrc file and add the last line: Export Path = $ path:/ARM-Linux-gcc/opt/friendlyarm/toolschian/4.5.1/bin, I use the cross-compilation tool chain provided by tiny6410, which is friendly here. Therefore, this directory is decompressed and detailed analysis is provided. Then select the system on the desktop, select logout, and enter the user name and password to log on to the system without restarting.

Step 3: Open the terminal and enter arm-Linux-gcc-V. If the following interface is displayed, the tool chain is successfully installed.
