Build an NFS server in Linux

In the/etc directory, perform the following operations:

 

(1) CD/etc

VI exports

/Home * (sync, RW, no_root_squash)
/OPT * (sync, RW, no_root_squash)

(2) Restart NFS

Service NFS restart

 

Note: firewall settings. If system error: No route to host is displayed, it indicates that the firewall is enabled.

After the preceding steps, NFS is created, which is equivalent to sharing in Windows. The next step is to mount the file.

 

Appendix:/home * (sync, RW, no_root_squash) parameter description, separated by commas:

/Home: directory to be shared

Sync: Write and share all data upon request

RW: read/write access

No_root_squash: if the user logging on to the NFS host is a root user, he has the root permission.
