While there is no concept of destructor in Java, the Finalize method of the Java language is very similar to the function of a destructor in the C + + language. The Finalize method is a method contained in the Java Language Foundation Class object class, which is a method of protecting the type (protected), since all classes developed in the Java application are subclasses of object. As a result, the user class implicitly inherits the method from object objects. The Finalize method is ultimately called by the garbage collector in the JVM.
