C and C + + Const declaration Difference _c Language

When you declare a variable to be const in the C source code file, you can do so in the following ways:

const int i = 2;

You can then use this variable in another module, which is indicated as follows:

extern const int i;

But to get the same behavior as in C + +, you must declare the const variable to be:

extern const int i = 2;
