Affected refers to the number of rows that were changed, and the select query does not alter the contents of the row.

In PDO, the number of rows that are queried by the select query is obtained by using count to calculate the array of result sets, and RowCount () stores the number of rows affected (changed) in the query (Insert/update/delete).

In Mysqli, num_rows (which is effective when buffering queries are turned on) stores the number of rows that select queries to, Affected_rows stores the number of rows affected (changed) in the query (Insert/update/delete).

It is important to note that if the update is the same as the original content, Mysqli's AFFECTED_ROWS,PDO rowcount () will return 0.
