Case Study on opening debugging of the 4E1 port of the Huawei router (1)

This article mainly introduces the case of start debugging of the 4E1 port of the Huawei router, explains the technical problems of this debugging, and describes the operation process in detail later in this article, I believe this article will help you better understand the debugging of the 4E1 port of the Huawei router.

Note: because there are no ip resources, we have to use 2 m lines to transmit data. The devices used are M262 routers, and the uplink devices are Huawei's NE16. Each of them has a 4E1 module on m262, there is an 8E1 module on the Huawei router, which is connected through transmission. The networking diagram is as follows:

NOTE: If two routers are directly connected through e1, that is, back-to-back connection, one side needs to work in DTE mode and the other side works in DCE mode. If the router is transmitted, you do not need to set the working mode of both parties. By default, both work in DTE mode.

Problems encountered during debugging: The physical link of the Serial port of the router is up, but the protocol is not up.

Log on to the Huawei router and find that all the above port protocols are up. It is strange that there is no problem with the configuration. We need to unplug one of our 2 m ports, the corresponding ports of Huawei are also down, indicating that our two devices are connected. After the DTs re-checked the 2 m line, the protocol layer of our port was up.

The physical link and protocol of Virtual-Template are prompted, but when you run the command, it is displayed as down.
