Cannot be used as a run sub-command

Batch command

The Run Command is enclosed in parentheses. the commonly used Batch Commands include allocate channel, set newname for datafile, release channel, switch, and set.

Executed as a group

For example:

RMAN> run {

2> Backup incremental level 0

3> Format '/u01/APP/Oracle/bak/% d _ % S _ % P'

4> fileperset 5 (database include current controlfile );

5> SQL 'alter databaes archive log current ';}
