Fault Handling for four types of printer paper feed

In the process of frequent use, printers often encounter failures that cannot handle paper. Most of the failures are caused by paper clips, no paper feed, a single multi-page feed, and spam. How should we deal with these faults?

The solution is as follows:

I. Solutions for printer paper clips.

1. Whether the surface of the printed paper is flat. If there is a printer paper, first check whether the surface of the printing paper is flat. If there is paper curl or folding, it is best to replace the smooth and smooth surface of the paper, make sure that the surface of the printed paper does not have adhesive-like attachments.

2. The printing paper is too thin or too large. Make sure that the quality of the printing paper exceeds 60 grams. If the printing paper is too thin, it will become difficult for the printer to take the paper and may cause the printer to clip the paper. In addition, the size of the printed paper cannot be too thick at a time.

3. Paper Roll Wear. Paper roller is the most vulnerable part of laser printing. When the paper in the paper tray is normal, but the paper cannot be taken, it is often the paper roller wear or spring loose. The pressure is not enough, and the paper cannot be sent to the machine. When the paper roll is worn out and cannot be replaced at the moment, the winding rubber band can be used for emergency handling. After the rubber band is wound, the friction of rubbing paper is increased to restore the feed to normal.

4. Others. Improper installation of paper disks, poor paper quality (thin, thick, damp), and so on, may also cause paper jam or failure to take paper.

Ii. Reasons for not entering the paper and solutions.

1. put too much printing paper. First, check whether the printing paper is installed in accordance with the standards. For example, whether the installation position has exceeded the printer's left guide arrow flag. If the installation position is exceeded, the printing paper must be reduced.

2. Foreign Body blockage. Check whether there is any blockage in the printer. For example, if there is paper clip in the printer, it will lead to no paper feed. If there is a foreign body, you must exclude it. During exclusion, you must first turn off the printer power, and then take out the foreign body with caution. If the clip paper is removed, the clip paper must be pulled slowly along the direction of the paper. After the clip paper is removed, check whether there is any residual part of the paper and make sure that the part is cleaned up.

3. The printing paper is wet. If the used printing paper is stored for a long time and the surface is wet, it may also lead to the phenomenon of not going into the paper. What we need to do at this time is to dry the printing paper.

4. Whether the ink is used up. If you are using an ink jet printer, the indicator lights of the black or color ink cartridges are flashing or bright, prompting you that the ink is about to run out. If the ink cartridge is empty, the printer cannot enter the paper.

3. There are four reasons for putting multiple pages at a time.

1. Position of the printed paper. Incorrect position of the printed paper will lead to the occurrence of multiple pages of paper. The correct paper height cannot be higher than the arrow icon on the left rail of the paper trough. Secondly, check whether the printed paper meets the requirements: weight up to 60 ~ 180 grams of printing paper can meet the requirements, and less than 60 grams of ultra-thin printing paper, it is easy to appear at the same time the phenomenon of Multi-feed paper.

2. The degree of curl on the surface of the printed paper. Curl also leads to a multipage feed. Therefore, you must ensure that the surface of the printed paper is smooth and smooth. If it is slightly Curly, you can try to flatten it.

3. electrostatic induction. Static electricity induction will also cause a multi-page feed. Before installing the printing paper, the printing paper must be spread out in a slice to ensure that each piece of paper can be separated separately, then load the printed paper into the Guide tray in the correct way.

4. Position of the adjusting lever. For printers with the paper thickness adjustment function, it is very important to adjust the position of the adjusting rod. When different paper qualities are used, the position of the thick adjusting rod is also different. For example, when printing paper with regular thickness is used, the position of the adjusting rod must be set to "0 ". Of course, different printers have different adjustment standards for the regulator bar. It is best to refer to the instructions below.

4. Messy printer paper.

when a page is printed, a piece of paper is suddenly blank and then automatically printed. This is often because the printer has been in use for a long time, paper detection switch contacts due to wear and enter the dust and lead to poor contact, leading to the printer to make a wrong judgment. Disassemble the printer, find the paper detection switch, and clean it with alcohol.
