Configure 802.1x in Linux

The dormitory network adopts 802.1x authentication, and a new RedHat 9 is installed. If the network is unavailable, the 802.1X Authentication client must be installed. The school's network management system only provides Huawei's Windows client, without the Linux version. Do it yourself, download xsupplicant from www.open1x.org, and download http://libdnet.sourceforge.net from libdnet-1.7.tar.gz. Compile and install libdnet and then install xsupplicant. After

CP 1x. CONF/etc/1X/

Edit 1x. conf, fill in the user name and password, and run

Xsupplicant-I eth0

The authentication still fails: (change the authentication type from TLS to MD5, and then the authentication passes. It's good to have a network in Mozilla.

Add/etc/rc. d/rc. Local

Xsupplicant-I eth0-d

In this way, the system automatically authenticates each time it is started, and the Internet is not optimal.
