Configure the browser compatibility mode for IIS

As we all know, Microsoft's Internet Explorer team has been committed to building IE8 as the most industry-compliant browser. Unfortunately, not all websites currently agree with these standards. If you are worried that your website will not work normally in IE8 standard mode, the following methods may be helpful to you:

1. You can add the following meta header to all the pages on your website.

<Meta http-equiv = "X-UA-compatible" content = "Ie = emulateie7"/>

This tag allows your website pages to run in IE8 compatibility mode, regardless of whether the browser compatibility mode is set. For a website page, this may be a good solution!

2. Configure IIS and add HTTP Header

This method can easily access the website in IE8 compatibility mode without modifying the website source code. Of course, you can also modify the config configuration file of the website to achieve this:
