I. Preparations before connection

Configure vro2 2 to change the WAN port address, LAN port address, and DHCP address range, the WAN port set by the vro is a dynamic IP address to obtain the IP address from the first vro, and change its own IP address and DHCP address to another CIDR block so that it is not in the same CIDR block as the first vro, as shown in:

2. connect two Routers

Connect any LNA port of vro1 1 to the WAN port of vro2 2. In this way, vro2 2 is used as a router, which can be regarded as a computer, therefore, vro2 2 is equal to the connected computer, and the computer must be accessible through the gateway vro2 2. Because the vro acts as an isolated device, it divides itself into two halves, a wan port address is associated with the computer, and the LAN port address is associated with other computers. The gateway on the computer must point to the LAN port address of vro2 2, instead of vro1 1.

Iii. Possible Problems

1. Failed to configure the vro. If not, you can download it from the official website of the vro. Then reset the vro. Connect the vro with a machine and remove all other network cables. The computer that is responsible for setting up its own IP address to be automatically obtained, and then check whether it can enter the vro settings page.

2. unable to access the network. If the computer in 1 cannot access the network, first go to the vro settings page to check whether the WAN port in the running status of the vro is connected, that is, whether the Internet is connected, if no, check the ADSL account, or change the network cable to connect the WAN port of vro1 1 to ADSL.

You can even use the telephone line directly connected to ADSL to check whether it is accessible. If the computer in V2. is inaccessible, first check whether the IP address is in the same network segment as vro2 2. And whether the gateway address is correct, and whether the DNS address is the IP address of vro1 1.
