The well-known git is a distributedSource codeVersion Management ControlProgramAnd cross-platform. It can be used in both Linux and Windows. Recently, I installed git on my VPs and intend to install git on Windows. In this way, I can easily push the local version library to VPs as a backup at any time.
In fact, installing the GIT environment in Windows is also very simple. tortoisegit, coupled with msysgit, is a well-known version control software for the turtle series (previously included tortoisesvn and tortoisecvs. Tortoisegit cannot be used after it is installed separately. It depends on msysgit.
There is no particular distinction between the installation steps. You can install msysgit first and then tortoisegit. And vice versa.
Tortoisegit official address: http://code.google.com/p/tortoisegit/
Msysgit official address: http://code.google.com/p/msysgit/
Note that after the installation is complete, you need to make some settings in tortoisegit:
1. Set the msysgit path.
2. Set the user information (this information serves as the credential for submitting the modification)
After the configuration, you can directly right-click the menu and clone the version library on the remote VPs to the local computer through SSH. Next, let's start your git journey!
