Confluence 6 Enable remote API

The XML-RPC and SOAP remote APIs have been deprecated since confluence 5.5. We recommend that you use the fully supported confluence Server REST API.

To enable the XML-RPC and SOAP remote APIs, you need to enable the API from the Administrator console (Administration console). You need to have system administrator privileges to do this.

How to enable the remote API:

1. In the upper-right corner of the screen, click the console button , and then select the general Configuration link.

2. In the left panel , click More Settings (further configuration).

3. Click Edit.

4. Select the selection box on the edge of the remote API ( XML-RPC & SOAP) .

5. Click Save.
