Every time you use Pycharm in an Ubuntu environment, you need to go to its installation directory to execute the./pycharm.sh to start the pycharm. More trouble, since Ubuntu provides a desktop environment that we should use from the point of separation. Hahaha ...
On dry Goods
My Pycharm installation directory is ~/programs/pycharm-2016.2.3
1 Execute the following command
sudo vi /usr/share/applications/pycharm.desktop
2 Add the following in the new file and save:
[Desktop entry]encoding=utf-8 Type=ApplicationName=pycharmgenericname =pycharm3comment=pycharm2016:the Python ideexec="/xxxx/programs/ pycharm-2016.2.3/bin/pycharm.sh" %fIcon=/xxxx/programs/pycharm-2016.2. 3/bin/pycharm.pngterminal=falseCategories=application;development;
This means that Exec and icon refer to the path of execution and icons for pycharm, so find the corresponding path for your installation.
exec represents the application's location "modified as appropriate"
Icon represents the location of the application icon "modified as appropriate"
A value of terminal false indicates that the command-line window is not started at startup, and a value of TRUE indicates that the command-line window was started with "recommended false"
Categories The content here determines the position of the created starter in the Application menu, the starter created as described above will appear in the application-internet, and so on, if you want to create the starter in the application-Office, The last line above should be written as: Categories=application;office;
Name of the desktop icon that is set
3 Add executable permissions
sudo chmod +x/usr/share/applications/pycharm.desktop
4 Copy the/usr/share/applications/pycharm.desktop file to the desktop, and then double-click to run.
