Create a Wi-Fi hotspot in CentOS
I recently read an article about setting up wireless hotspots in linux. At that time, I thought it was a novelty. in linux, I could set up wifi.
I installed my notebook with centos6.5 last week. The sound card and wireless network card have been installed by myself, and I have not found them. My laptop model is V480C.
Here are the steps: System ---- preferences ---- network connection --- add ---- wireless --- New --- cancel the token of the automatic connection, tick everyone available ---- enter the SSID name --- mode --- "ad-hot" --- ipv4 settings --- share with other computers --- ipv6 settings --- ignore --- Application
There is a problem with the wireless password settings. Unable to save, but no reason has been found.
