Create a Wi-Fi hotspot in Windows 7/8

1. Run cmd.exe with the administrator ID.
2. Enter the command "netsh WLAN show drivers" to view the configuration information of the [supported bearer network] item of the wireless network adapter [Yes/No]. If it is [Yes], skip to step 1; if it is [No], see the solution in the figure below.

   • • Possible problem 1: The NIC Driver Installed in the notebook does not support WiFi sharing or not the latest version, or the wireless NIC driver is not installed.
     • • Solution: download and install the latest driver that supports the WiFi sharing function from the website of the notebook manufacturer. The following are some common download websites for the notebook manufacturer:

3. Run the "netsh WLAN set hostednetwork mode = allow SSID = Gerald key = gerald76" command to configure the WLAN.
