By default, Ubuntu saves the automatically installed software shortcuts in the/usr/share/applications directory, and if we want to create a desktop shortcut, we need to create a file named "Idea.desktop" in that directory.
Add the following in Idea.desktop
[Desktop entry]name=ideaiucomment=ideaiuexec=env java_home=/home/ycz/software/ jdk1.7.0_79/home/ycz/software/idea-iu-143.1821.5/bin/Idea.shicon=/home/ycz/software/ idea-iu-143.1821.5/bin/idea.pngterminal=falseType=applicationcategories= Application;development;
Note: You must set java_home in the Exec command, otherwise you cannot start the idea
