Reports in company projects are mostly generated using Crystal Reports. In the project, the fill data source of the Crystal Report is the DataSet or DataTable (this is very troublesome and time-consuming, I secretly think .). I am also responsible for a large number of reports. The first thing I think of is to use. NET Objects as a data source to generate reports (see the. Net Objects data source filling in the Crystal Report ). However, the project development environment is VS2005 (or the reason for the crystal report version, but I didn't go into details). The test was unsuccessful! Then, I wrote a small tool to generate a dataset (creating a dataset is the most repetitive and meaningless thing in crystal report development ).
Look at it!
Do a demo: 1) Click "Generate Report dataset" in the Action column ":
2) The DsTest. xsd dataset is generated in the target path folder (my desktop:
3) add it to our project for use.
Note: Because the implementation is very simple, you will not post code to introduce the implementation process. If you are interested, you can download and view the source code through the link below.
