Synchronization state
The synchronize view shows the synchronization state of resources in your workspace compared to those in the repository. this state is shown by using icons and can also be configured to show the state as text appended to the Resource Name. A description of the icons is shown in the table below:
The blue arrow pointing to the left contains the plus sign an incoming addition means that a resource has been added to the repository. Updating will transfer the resource to your workspace.
The Blue Arrow an incoming change means that the file has changed in the repository. Updating will transfer the new file revision to your workspace.
The blue arrow pointing to the left contains the minus sign an incoming deletion means that a resource was deleted from the server. Updating will delete your local resource.
The black arrow pointing to the right contains the plus sign an outgoing addition means that the file was added to your workspace and is not yet in the repository. Adding then committing will transfer the new file to the repository.
The Black Arrow an outgoing change means that the file was change locally. Committing the file will transfer the changes to the repository and create a new revision of the file.
The black arrow pointing to the right contains the minus sign an outgoing deletion is a resource that has been deleted locally. committing these resources will cause the remote resource to be deleted. note: In CVS directories are never really deleted from the repository. instead, files are deleted and empty directories are pruned from your workspace.
The red bidirectional arrow contains the plus sign a conflicting additions means that the resource has been added locally and remotely.
Red bidirectional arrow a conflicting change means that the file has been changed locally and remotely. A manual or automatic merge will be required by the user. also, any entries in the view that contain children that are conflicts will also be decorated with the comflict icon. this is done to make conflicts easy to find.
The Red Two-way arrow contains the minus sign a conflicting deletion means that the resource was deleted locally and remotely.

Synchronization status
The synchronization view shows the synchronization status of resources on your local work platform and the server repository. Status is displayed by icon. You can also set the status to text after the Resource Name. The following table lists the descriptions of icons.
The blue arrow pointing to the left contains the plus sign. Introducing new -- indicates that a resource has been added to the server. Click the update key to pass the resource to the local device.
The blue arrow pointing to the left introduces the change, indicating that the resources on the server have changed. Click the update key to pass the new file to the local device.
The blue arrow pointing to the left contains a minus sign to import and delete -- indicating that the server's resources have been deleted. Click the update key to delete your local resources.
The black arrow pointing to the right contains a plus sign to add the output. This indicates that you have a new file locally, but not on the server. Adding the submit key will upload the new file to the server.
The black arrow pointing to the right outputs a change, indicating that the local file has changed. When a file is submitted, the changes are transmitted to the server and a new version of the file is created.
The black arrow pointing to the right contains the minus sign and the output is deleted, indicating that the local file has been deleted. Submitting these resources will delete remote resources. Note: directories in CVs are not actually deleted from the server. Instead, delete the file and remove the empty folder from your local device.
The Red Two-way arrow contains the plus sign, indicating that resources are added both locally and remotely.
Red Two-way arrow conflict change-Indicates local and remote file changes. You need to merge manually or automatically. At the same time, the upper-level view containing conflicting files is also displayed as a conflict to make it easier to find the conflict.
