Cut, tr, wc, sort4

1. head FILE

2. tail FILE

:-F: tracks file changes;

3. cut and trim command

Space is 'or' must be in the middle of the quotation mark );

4. tr conversion or deletion of specified characters;

Tr-t [a-z] [A-Z] </tmp/test.txt converts lowercase letters to uppercase letters;

5. wc: word count Statistical File

-L only displays rows;

-W: Only displays the number of words;

-C: only the number of characters is displayed;

6. sort text sorting

-R is sorted in reverse order;

-N is ordered by numerical values;

-T specifies the field separator;

-K specifies the sorting field;
