According to the standard design method, a complete database design is generally divided into the following six stages:
1. Demand Analysis: Analysis of user needs, including data, functions and performance requirements;
2. Conceptual structure design: mainly use E-R model to design, including drawing e-r diagram;
3. Logical Structure Design: The transformation from the E-R model to the relational model is done by converting the E-r diagram into a table, and the relationship normalization is carried out.
4. Database physical design: mainly for the design of the database to choose the appropriate storage structure and storage path;
5. Implementation of the database: including programming, testing and commissioning;
6. Database operation and Maintenance: the operation of the system and the daily maintenance of the database
