Debugging of Hitachi HDS ams2100 Storage

1. Hitachi storage debugging

The user requires that the unpartitioned storage space of Hitachi be divided into 4 TB and mapped to the server. However, by operating the storage, no space is available.

Storage Model: HDS ams2100

Storage connection method:

1. Install the SMN2 software in your notebook and use your notebook as the server.

2. There are two controllers at the rear of Hitachi storage. The following is a 0 controller. The above is a 1 controller. Each controller has two network management ports and the IP address is as follows:

0 control:

Green area 192.168.0.16 (this port address is also the default address, which is not modified by the user)

Yellow area 10.61.59.10 (a transparent plastic lid is mounted on this port, and the IP address of this port cannot be changed)

1 control:

Green area 192.168.0.17 (this port address is also the default address, which is not modified by the user)

Yellow area 10.0.0.17 (a transparent plastic lid is mounted on this port, and the IP address of this port cannot be changed)

3. Configure and control the IP address of a CIDR Block in the notebook, open the IE browser, and enter the address:

Http: // 127.0.0.1: 23015/storagenavigatormodular/

Username: system password: Manager (this is also the default username and password, which has not been modified)

If there is no storage in the right area, you need to add the storage. Step:

Click Add array.

Click Next

Enter the IP address of controller 0. If controller 1 is connected to the network, enter the addresses of the two controllers and click Next.

Click Finish.

Click the added storage. The login page is displayed.
Userid: Root Password: storage (this is also the default user name and password, which has not been modified)

Now you can operate on the storage.
