Here I use Win7 and tomcat8, and tomcat8 download the compressed package rather than the installation file.
First step: The TOMCAT8 installation service, cmd in the directory to change the TOMCAT8 (that is, the compressed package extracted folder) Bin folder,
Step Two: Execute Service.bat Install
The third step: after success, remember to start the Tomcat service in the service.
Fourth step: Enter http://localhost:8080/in the browser, if the Tomcat page appears, the service opened successfully.
Fifth step: Find a Maven Web project that you have debugged, right-click Run As-maven Install, and then locate the corresponding. War package in the target folder, and copy the package directly to the TOMCAT8 WebApps.
Sixth step: Restart the TOMCAT8 service, TOMCAT8 will extract the war package, such as Fol.war will extract a fol folder in the current directory.
Seventh Step: Access your Web project in the browser, generally http://localhost:8080/fol/can access the home page (fol is usually the project name, but this can be configured to other)
