1 If there are other domain controllers in the domain, the domain controller is demoted to a member server

2 If the domain controller is the last controller in the domain, the domain controller is demoted to a standalone server

3 If the domain assumes the global catalog role, verify that there are other domain controllers in the network that assume the role before you implement the uninstallation

4 all domain controllers in the domain are online during the uninstallation process
