Deploying the FIM R2-4 installation of the FIM R2 synchronization Service

1. Open FIM2010 R2 Install the console and select "Install Synchronization Service"

Agree to the license, select "Next",

Keep the default,

3. Specify the database and instance for the FIM synchronization service,

4. Specify a service account for the FIM synchronization service, such as ( Note:domain must be written as Contoso, not contoso.com)

7. During installation, the installer prompts for a backup of the FIM synchronization service key, selects "OK" and specifies a backup location for the backup.
