Functional Requirements Analysis

The video contains a lot of redundant information, so the content-based retrieval and summary has a good application. This design is designed to facilitate the video surveillance and other video information retrieval and target search, the development of video information with redundant removal and content-based classification search function. The main functions of the implementation are:

? Basic playback function of video;

? Acquisition and marking of moving objects;

? Video area of interest settings: The video has a large amount of information, and sometimes only interested in a certain area, so the setting of the area of interest can reduce the computational burden of the system, reduce the interference of unnecessary information;

? Target classification and retrieval: How to obtain the desired target in the huge video information has always been a hot topic in the field of image and video intelligent processing, including the field of intelligent video analysis, which is also widely applied to object classification and retrieval; content-based video target classification and retrieval, can be used in video to search for specific objects , such as finding people, cars, or bicycles, to further search for people in red, hats, cars, heavy trucks, cars with license plate numbers, etc.

? Summary: The video summarization function based on key frame is realized. For cell monitoring, specific site monitoring and so on, no one or vehicle through the information is not important, in a quiet community or some monitoring sites without abnormal circumstances occupy the majority of the time, so this part of the video is removed or not recorded during monitoring will save a lot of storage space and access time.

? Real-time processing;

? Hardware acceleration: The use of FPGA image processing, speed up the implementation of the algorithm.

Finally, because some of the algorithms are not successful, only the demo system is implemented.
