Software Design of wireless data collection system for SimpliciTI network protocol
The software consists of three parts: Control Center, terminal node, and route node software.
1 Control Center
The control center constantly monitors how many node devices are added and determines whether the devices are full. If the data center still has idle ports, the PORT is allocated to notify the node device of the PORT number for communication. Communication between devices that have already joined the data center determines whether the data is received. If the data in the correct format is received, it is uploaded to the PC for display or database storage.
Wait for the serial PORT data. If no data exists, execute other tasks. If the data is received, take the corresponding communication PORT and send the control command to the specified node, the temperature and brightness of the node must be adjusted. Process 5 is shown.
2 terminal nodes
The main functions of the terminal node include: monitoring data center, adding to the network, collecting sensor data regularly, initializing the temperature control system, receiving data from the data center, and monitoring the execution of control commands sent from the data center; monitor the serial port status. Process 6.
3. Route nodes
A routing node, also known as range extension, implements the function of extending the data communication distance to expand the communication distance of each device. The following issues need to be noted during design and use: the length of the data payload to be received cannot be greater than the maximum payload defined by the extended range; modify the maximum payload length of the extended range; the length of the data payload to be received cannot be greater than the maximum payload length defined by the Protocol (50 bytes); the extended range cannot lose power. Process 7.
The wireless data acquisition system configures various micro sensors on multiple terminal nodes to implement real-time monitoring of the target environment. The Node completes the conversion from the collected physical quantity to the digital quantity, the data is transmitted to the PC through the wireless communication network for unified analysis, processing and storage.
Compared with the traditional online application network system, it has the advantages of low power consumption, low cost, simple and flexible operations, and is a new technology that realizes real-time monitoring applications with high efficiency, energy efficiency, and reliable performance. The wireless monitoring system derived from this design has a very wide application environment.
