WinForms Adorner UI Manager

The new WinForms Adorner UI Manager is a transparent layer that draws at the top of all other UI elements. It is designed to display objects and visual effects, rendering better application state for end users. You can use it to draw badges, highlight UI elements, display visual effects when validating the data editor, and so on.

Support Right-to-left

In this release, we have introduced support for Right-to-left (RTL) for all of the following devexpress WinForms controls.

• Charts

• Grid controls (grid, Treelist, Pivot Grid, Vertical grid and property grid)

• Data Editors and Controls (Range Control, Rating control, etc.)

• Ribbon, menus and related controls (Backstageview, Appmenu, etc.)

• Layout Control and Layout containers (TabControl, Groupcontrol, etc.)

• Navigation Controls (Navigation Bar, Tile control, etc.)

• Application UI Controls (Docking, Documentmanager, etc.)

WinForms Grid Control

Querying columns and bands in custom forms

In this release, we have expanded the functionality of the custom form, which includes a search box so that users can quickly locate the grid's columns and bands.

Excel? Inspired Format Rules dialog box

The WinForms Data grid now contains a excel-inspired dialog box for editing formatting rules.
