• All data can be bound;
• All of them can be used independently or used for built-in editing of container controls (XtraGrid, XtraVerticalGrid, XtraTreeList, and XtraBars) provided by Developer Express;
• All use the same style, appearance and feeling, and tooltip mechanism, because they are derived from the BaseEdit class.

To embed a specific editor into the container control, you must create a correspondingRepository item. The Repository item is a component that stores the attributes and events of a corresponding editor. The container control uses the information provided by the repository item to create the required full-featured editor. For more details, see Repositories and Repository.

Controls without text boxes
CheckEdit	RepositoryItemCheckEdit	An editor that provides the gray state of selected, unselected, and optional items. It is often used to edit a Boolean value.
MarqueeProgressBarControl	RepositoryItemMarqueeProgressBar	You can scroll a progress block from left to right to indicate that an operation is in progress.
PictureEdit	RepositoryItemPictureEdit	An editor that displays images stored as bitmap, Metafile, icon, JPEG, GIF, or PNG.
ProgressBarControl	RepositoryItemProgressBar	A widget that indicates the progress of a long operation.
RadioGroup	RepositoryItemRadioGroup	A control that provides a set of radio buttons.
RangeTrackBarControl	RepositoryItemRangeTrackBar	One slide bar has two slide blocks, allowing you to select a value range.
