This exception occurs because the version of the jar package is incorrect. The JDBC Connection oracle10g is Ojdbc6.jar (1942k), which connects sqlserver2008 with Sqljdbc.jar (570k) instead of Sqljdbc4.jar (567k). Postgres with Postgresql-8.2-504.jdbc3.jar.
